Bhagavate 07:26
Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya Mind in knots Senses cloudy All pleasure deluded and sleep seducing my eyes Come take me under your wings Take me where I stand And show me each and every star that you know by name Running on empty Life as we know in this moment - parched All known as you word - a desert to us now Only experience can satisfy that which we crave I wish to be noones, follow no man's rules Your love alone is the mystery Lead our steps Light our paths To fall into harmony with creation's unfolding I want no answers - no perfection And yet ignorance tastes bitter on my tongue Great mystery Give us eyes to see Ears to hear Feet to walk Hands to hold And may peace - May peace find all who seek May peace find all who seek

Traveling 06:07
Visions of what should be burn my eyes Feeling why stand still do I As the earth moves beneath me Mother calling and I once feared Who would hear her? But now I beg her Keep calling - keep calling We're on our way to you Traveling into a sea of vast unknowns Senses begotten child Compass claiming Compass claiming More than a feeling to ride Magnetism's on our side Take it slow - one step at a time Dry your eyes The gods - they see you trying Keep trying - still alive Keep calling Keep calling We're on our way to you Traveling into a sea of vast unknowns Senses begotten child Compass claiming Compass claiming

River 04:34
In voices near and far On the road less traveled Hiding from trust Believe in step - not in faith Why do you wander? Why do you roam? Lost in my thoughts You found me there In film and blank pages In the discipline of my core In the river we all know and love You found me there Forgetting the days And running late From the shoulds of my soul Believe in step - not in faith In fear of abandon, I abandon my soul And the world followed by You found me there In film and blank pages In the discipline of my core In the river we all know and love You found me there In film and blank pages In the discipline of my core In the river we all know and love You found me there You found me there You found me there

about

Resonance:
1) The intensification and enriching of a musical tone by supplementary vibration
2) The ability to evoke or suggest images, memories, and emotions

Connected through the yoga community of Washington, DC, the members of Resonance started getting together to play music with each other in the early summer of 2015. Each with their own musical influences varying from heavy metal to blues, from reggae to jazz they provided their unique voices to the collaboration. Throughout it all, they shared a spirit of connection and of uplifting one another. After a few months of playing music together, Resonance decided to record this EP to offer some of their shared beauty to the world. We hope that you enjoy listening to it as much as we did making it. And we hope that it inspires you to offer your voice to the world.
